AITA for causing someone to fail a class?

Finals season is approaching, so I am assuming a few of these posts are gonna pop up.Anyways, in one of my science based classes, instead of a final exam we have a presentation worth 250 points (2.5 tests). However, it's a group project. There are four people in my group. When we were assigned members, I emailed everyone after class to meet on Zoom (ofc) to discuss what parts of the presentation we wanted to do. Everyone except one guy responded. We broke everything down between the three of us and left a section for him to do. I email him again. After 24 hours, I track down his IG and DM him. I get no response. I post on our academic discussion board and @ him and email him 6 times over the course of two weeks. The day before the project is due, we meet with one of the TA's and she makes some criticisms. We tell her we haven't heard from the missing dude at all, and she says to email him and "the TA wants to hear from you to work this out". I sent the draft over via email and told him that either he could make the revisions or I was going to report him to the Professor. No response.So, we turn in the project on Monday. Yesterday, they were graded. He DMs ME and says, "What did you get on the project?" I told him 240. He said (and I quote) "wtf I got a zero". I bluntly told him he didn't put in any work so his name didn't go on it. He gets pissed and says he isn't passing the class. He then tells me he responded to the TA that life was "just busy". Bro we're trying to graduate in a global pandemic everyone here is busy. I didn't say that, just told him to talk to the professor.Today we had a meeting with the Professor and the guy argued that because he wasn't warned he would't get credit by us, he should have a chance to redo the project. The professor asks us if we told him we would take his name off the project and we said no. I said I threatened to report him.The teacher is "considering" letting him redo it for up to 80% all on his own, claiming that the student wasn't warned. Now the guy DMs me and says, "thanks for screwing me over, now the highest grade I can get in the class is a C+."AITA?
